The first draft of “Light” a brand new work by Composer Kara Stacy Bedwell has been shared with Directors! As the title suggests, the piece highlights the word light in many languages. The original text. “We are the bringers of the light” and “we will leave this place better than we found” is inspirational. The music is uplifting and captivating. The piece will be premiered by the entire Austin Children’s Choir in May, 2024. The final draft should be available in December and work will start in rehearsals on January 6th.
