The Austin Children’s Choir is committed to providing Austin-area children the opportunity to participate in and benefit from the joys of music.  Placement evaluations are held at the beginning of each semester and are employed to determine the child’s vocal ability and range, NOT to eliminate a child from the program.

How to Prepare
Each student will sing Happy Birthday and vocal exercises led by an artistic director. After all members of the choir will gather for a rehearsal.

Season Tuition:

The season runs August through May and tuition is $500 for Chorale and $300 for Minnesingers. There is no additional cost for singers who are placed in Concordia. The cost of tuition includes our Austin Children’s Choir tshirt. Singers are responsible for providing blue jeans and a solid black concert outfit.

Tuition Assistance:

Choir members facing economic hardships may qualify for financial assistance. Once you register your singer, you will receive a separate application for tuition assistance.
